Final PROVER Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina Showcases Vertical Farming Innovation
The final conference of the PROVER project in Bosnia and Herzegovina marked a significant milestone in promoting vertical farming across the Western Balkans. Young participants from across the country had the opportunity to explore the concept of vertical farming, understand the structure and function of vertical farming systems, and learn about their environmental, economic, and social benefits.
The event highlighted the innovative approaches and educational tools developed throughout the project, demonstrating how vertical farming can contribute to sustainable food production, green entrepreneurship, and climate-resilient agriculture. Participants engaged with experts, exchanged ideas, and reflected on the potential of vertical farming to transform local agriculture and inspire future careers in this emerging sector.
The PROVER project has proven to be a groundbreaking initiative, successfully bridging the gap between vocational education, the business sector, and cutting-edge agricultural technology. This final conference not only celebrated the achievements of the project in Bosnia and Herzegovina but also served as a powerful introduction to vertical farming for the entire Western Balkan region, setting the stage for continued innovation and regional cooperation in sustainable agriculture.
