โRacc Educo was founded as a response to the needs of the labor market, in the way that it defined the offer of adult education programs through the sought occupations , i.e. knowledge and skills, necessary for faster development, not only in the economic, but also in the public sector. Education, along with work, or lifelong learning is one of the priorities in the society and the economy based on knowledge, skills, abilities, as a prerequisite for the acquisition of appropriate competencies, which represents the path to the development of the education system in Montenegro.
As an administrative assistant at Racc Educo, I am responsible for providing support to both staff and participants of education courses. And in my current position as a local coordinator with the PROVER project, I focus on promoting awareness of innovation in agricultural practices. In Montenegro, a country with limited land resources, itโs imperative to strike a balance between land conservation and food self-sufficiency without relying too much in imports. Vertical farming emerges as a promising solution, offering year-round pesticide-free and efficient space utilization production capabilities.โ
Ornest Saraรงi, project coordinator, representative of Albania
My role inside the PROVER project is to lead the process of developing the Capacity Building Framework (CBF) Toolkit as a theoretical and practical resource. This toolkit is designed to meet the learning needs and constraints of VET providers, enabling them to quantitatively assess and optimize Vertical Farming systems for efficient investment and operations. PROVER project will be the answer needed to further enlarge Controlled Enivronment Agriculture (CEA) in Albania and the overall Western Balkan region. By providing experts and educators with a decision-making support system, we aim to centralize and simplify business planning and initial investmenst. This support will assist agriculture students, farmers, and potential rural entrepreneurs in their dailyjobs, leading to the formation of robust farm business models. I believeour scalable approach will be particularly embraced by small farmers who are at risk of climate change effects, opening the door for research, innovation, and best practices to prepare future experts in the CEA field.
Amela Mrakiฤ, project coordinator, representative of Bosnia and Hercegovina.

This project promotes vertical farming by introducing innovative and sustainable practices that can transform our agricultural industry. Additionally, we are strengthening the connections between educational institutions and the business sector, which will enhance education and workforce preparedness. In this
way, the PROVER project contributes to the economic growth and development of ourย country.ย Centar za edukaciju mladih is committed fostering innovation and sustainability in our community. With a proven track record in educational projects and a strong network of llocal andย international partners. CEM is uniquely postioned to drive the PROVER project forward. Our expertise in youth engagement, combined with our dedication to promoting modern agricultural practices, makes us the perfect fit for implementating thisย transformative project.
